The ACMAR Doctoral Colloquium is organized for doctoral students in management accounting and is held in conjunction with the Annual Conference for Management Accounting Research (ACMAR) and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, one of the leading business schools in Europe.
The Colloquium’s aim is to provide an opportunity for doctoral students of management accounting from different countries to discuss their research and work in progress with an experienced international faculty. In addition to the scientific program, the Colloquium agenda provides ample opportunity for students to network and interact socially with other participants and the faculty.
In 2016, Professor Naomi Soderstrom (University of Melbourne) and Professor Matthew Hall (London School of Economics and Political Science) joined Professor Utz Schäffer (WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management) on the faculty of the fifth ACMAR Doctoral Colloquium. Previous guest faculty have included Professor Christopher Chapman (Imperial College London), Professor Ranjani Krishnan (Michigan State University), Professor Kari Lukka (University of Turku), Professor Michal Matějka (Arizona State University), Professor Martin Messner (University of Innsbruck), Assoc. Professor Sally Widener (Clemson University), and Professor Anne Wu (National Chengchi University).
